High class champagne that tastes sweet like Martini & Rossi? - martini and high cholesterol
Martini & Rossi is a sweet sparkling wine, and cheap. I've heard it characterized as a dessert wine. Is it more elegant or expensive champagne, the same taste?

Specifically to your question, the answer is no. Those that the spectrum of honeysuckle or sweet in Champagne, your question should not have understood to be justified. Martini & Rossi Asti Spumante is. This is an Italian sparkling wine. Champagne is sparkling wine from Champagne in France. I do not care, that does not succeed, the champagne is many things, but still wants to be sweet - not as an Asti Spumante.
To answer your second question, well, go with Joe S. recommendation or simply looking for an interesting Asti Spumante. However, most of Asti, start at low cost. O experiment and taste typical Moscato d 'Asti. Makes a good Ceretto Moscato d'Asti. By the way, if you want a better Asti Spumante, try Mondoro. I love Mondoro.
